DIY Cross Stitch Pattern

I havent been really sure if I wanted to post this or not, as Im not 100% pleased with the result of it - But since I framed it and hung it on the wall already, I decided to do it either how....

It all started with the usual 

cup of coffee- pickup at 

the local coffee bar, where I took

this hasty picture of a chalk board

they had written 

a pretty clear message on - 

It took place in my heart as

I stepped 

away with my coffee in my hand.

"So why not make this a cross stitch embroidery?!" She thought, clearly inspired by all the amazingly creative people out there in Bloglandia, and I found this tutorial on how to make a Cross Stitch Pattern in Gimp. Its very easy to follow and Im pleased with the result!! I printed it out in black and white to give it a bigger contrast (I know I could have done that in Gimp, but the printer-solution was easy too.. :D)

It looks a little like someone younger than me could have done, and Im not sure if I like the ragged feel of it.  I might use a different approach for making a pattern, and do it over... I just have to give it some time to see how it makes me feel.Maybe its the size of it that feels wrong..? It was fun to make it though!!
